Senior Manager

Job Description :

The Senior Manager will play a pivotal leadership role, overseeing and guiding the strategic direction of our event management and brand scaling operations. You will manage both internal and external teams, ensuring that all projects align with business objectives and client expectations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for driving innovation, enhancing operational efficiency, and delivering excellence across all client touchpoints.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership and People Management: Lead cross-functional teams across the organization, including event managers, designers, and marketing personnel. You will be responsible for fostering collaboration, ensuring clear communication, and maintaining a motivated, high-performing team.

  • Strategic Planning: Develop long-term strategic plans to enhance business growth. Your role will involve analyzing market trends, identifying growth opportunities, and implementing initiatives to drive the company’s success in event management and brand scaling.

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and nurture relationships with high-value clients. You will be directly involved in strategic client meetings, ensuring client satisfaction and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Project Oversight: Oversee the execution of major projects, from initial planning to completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. You will be the final point of escalation for any project-related issues and will ensure that all deliverables meet the required standards.

  • Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets, allocate resources, and track project expenditures to ensure financial goals are met. You will oversee the proper allocation of resources to projects and ensure that operational costs remain within budget.

  • Quality Control and Process Improvement: Monitor project quality and implement improvements to the process as necessary. This will include reviewing existing systems, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to streamline operations.

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Regularly assess team performance, set measurable KPIs, and deliver reports to senior leadership. You will track project progress and identify areas where adjustments need to be made.

  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will take proactive steps to avoid delays and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.

  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments (marketing, sales, production) to ensure seamless integration and execution of the event management process. You’ll serve as the liaison between departments to ensure smooth communication and collaboration.

  • Innovation and Industry Leadership: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. You’ll spearhead initiatives to innovate and introduce new concepts to improve both event execution and brand scaling strategies.

 

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in senior management roles, preferably in event management or a related industry.

  • Proven ability to manage large-scale projects and teams.

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Ability to think strategically and analytically.

  • Excellent client relationship management skills.

  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and resource management.
